Scripture Memory Verse #15

It is that time again. How are you doing?

School has started back, and I am so excited that my daughter is now learning scripture with me. We have been singing the scripture. This has helped so much with remembering (for both of us). And it makes it fun for her.

Do you have any special techniques to help you memorize your verse? I would like to hear your suggestions and what works for you.

Don’t forget to clock in over at Living Proof Ministries too.

Scripture Memory Verse #13

We are a little over half-way through the year. How are you doing? Have you been stretching your faith? Have you been growing and producing fruit?

What is this all about?

Are you able to help others? Are you able to now help more effectively?

What areas do you need to improve?

Are you able to encourage? Are you able to help others out of sin and/or strongholds?

“Owe nothing to anyone – except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law. For the commandments say, ‘You must not commit adultery. You must not murder. You must not steal. You must not covet.’ These – and other such commandments – are summed up in this one commandment: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law.” (Romans 13:8-10, NLT)

Are you a doer of the Word, instead of a hearer only?

In Season & Out of Season (Scripture Memory #12)

Do you know why you believe what you believe?

Are your beliefs based on what some person has taught you? If so, do you realize that it may not be all true?

Have you searched the Word out for yourself? Have you allowed the Holy Spirit to be your teacher.

Are you able to explain and show someone else the Gospel?

“Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage – with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry. (2 Timothy 4:2-5, NIV)

Are you able to give an answer for all that you believe?
