“The Awe Factor” (Scripture Memory Verse # 9)

“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” (Hebrews 4:13, NLT)

“He is perfectly set apart, with nothing and no one to compare Him to. That is what it means to be ‘holy.'”

“His perfect holiness, by definition, assures us that our words can’t contain Him. Isn’t it a comfort to worship a God we cannot exaggerate?”

(Francis Chan, Crazy Love)

We too often take for granted who this mighty, holy God is. We take for granted who we are, and that we must give account. We take for granted the mercies and the grace.

Sometimes we need that jolt – that reminder – of just how awesome He really is.

Are you taking time to admire Him? What Word is being written within your heart?
